We are thrilled to announce our new charity <\/span>food partnership<\/b> with <\/span>Sakeenah Homes<\/b>, an organization that provides transitional shelter homes for women and children facing domestic violence and homelessness. Dedicated to helping the community, their services have now expanded to include health therapy, legal services, career skills training, and more.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sakeenah Homes runs transitional shelters to house women and children and provide direct access to crisis counseling so they can move towards a more sustainable lifestyle. \u201cI was homeless even with my family living in the same city as me,\u201d says one of our clients. \u201cSakeenah Homes gave me the support I needed to start fresh.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through in-house training programs and resume building workshops, they help clients secure a better future so they can provide for their families.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

TAZA foods has partnered with Sakeenah Homes for the whole year to provide monthly food donations to their <\/span>People\u2019s Market <\/span><\/i>as well as their Shelter homes in GTA<\/span>. <\/span><\/i>The People\u2019s Market <\/b>is a program that provides a dignified grocery store experience to those in need. Individuals can stroll around the market and pick up the things they need rather than relying on donations or handouts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
